Intentions

This Catholic Sex Blog was created to help Catholics searching for answers to questions relating to sexual issues.

I must first state that I’m not a priest, a religious, or expert on Catholic sexual teaching. I am just a layperson who has experienced a conversion experience after reading Christopher West’s book “Theology of the Body for Beginners” and have reflected on the late Pope John Paul II’s teachings on the matter.

To begin with, Theology of the Body explains the reasons behind many of the Catholic Church’s teachings on sex and marriage, teachings which have left many Catholics and non-Catholics confused and frustrated.

I hope to help other Catholics still frustrated about these matters through the use of this blog, and my parallel blog at http://catholicwriter.wordpress.com.

This Catholic Sex Blog will be used mainly to clarify some of the popular issues raised in this blog, especially after it’s gone through a period of refinement. It will help to explain the Catholic Church’s teachings on sex and marriage a little more clearly.
